MEHAR: A 40-year-old labourer was killed when his motorcycle collided with a donkey cart on the Indus Highway near Attock Pump.
Mashooq Ali Siyal, a resident of village Ali Sher Bapero, sustained severe abdominal injuries in the accident and was rushed to Taluka Hospital Mehar, where he later succumbed to his injuries. After completing legal formalities, his body was handed over to the family.
The incident turned what should have been Eid celebrations into mourning in the victim’s household. Family members said Siyal worked as a truck labourer and had left home early in the morning for work when the fatal accident occurred.
Police and local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The tragedy has caused grief in the area, with residents expressing sorrow over the loss of life in the road accident.
