TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned that attacks on energy infrastructure could lead to uncontrollable consequences affecting the entire world. In a statement posted on social media platform X, he strongly condemned recent strikes on Iran’s energy facilities.
Pezeshkian said that targeting energy infrastructure would create serious instability and said such actions against Iran’s energy sites, including the South Pars gas field, were unacceptable. He added that these attacks would not benefit the US-Israel alliance or its supporters but would instead deepen the crisis and risk wider global impact.
Iranian authorities have claimed that US and Israeli forces targeted the South Pars gas field and related installations, affecting nearby oil and petrochemical facilities in the Asaluyeh area. The warning highlights rising concerns over the security of global energy supplies amid escalating regional tensions.
