KHAIRPUR: The Sindh Education Foundation conducted its scholarship entry test for Class VIII (session 2026–27) across Sindh, with Cadet College Khairpur serving as one of the designated examination centers. The test drew a large number of candidates, reflecting continued demand for merit-based educational opportunities in the province.
A total of 1,252 students appeared at the Khairpur center. Of these, 428 were female and 824 were male candidates. They travelled from different districts, highlighting broad participation and interest in the scholarship program.
Officials said the examination was conducted in an organized and disciplined manner. Comprehensive administrative arrangements had been put in place to ensure that the process ran smoothly. Strict adherence to standard operating procedures was maintained throughout the day to uphold transparency and fairness.
The college management closely supervised the proceedings. Staff monitored all stages of the examination to prevent any irregularities. Teams from the Sindh Education Foundation were also present on site. They actively observed the arrangements and ensured that the test was carried out in a credible and efficient way.
Authorities said the measures were designed to maintain the integrity of the selection process. They added that the scholarship program aimed to identify talented students and provide them access to quality education on merit.
Cadet College Khairpur reiterated its commitment to supporting such initiatives. It said the institution would continue to play its role in promoting equal educational opportunities and encouraging academic excellence among students from diverse backgrounds.
