KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that unity is essential to overcome the challenges facing Pakistan, stressing that the country must follow the principles of Quaid-e-Azam to ensure progress and stability.
Speaking to the media after visiting Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi along with the Sindh governor and cabinet members, Murad Ali Shah said that Pakistan’s founding leaders, including Shaheed Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, worked to turn the vision of the country’s founder into reality.He said that under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Pakistan Peoples Party continues its efforts for the country’s development.
He added that strengthening Pakistan economically and socially remains a top priority.Murad Ali Shah said the Sindh government is committed to public welfare and emphasised the need to educate the younger generation about Quaid-e-Azam’s vision.
He noted that Sindh had played a key role in the creation of Pakistan, recalling the passage of the Pakistan Resolution by the Sindh Assembly.He also said that Pakistan’s nuclear programme, associated with Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, had strengthened the country’s defence, adding that the nation is now in a position where no adversary can look at it with hostility.
