KARACHI: Rescue teams are continuing their operation to find a girl who went missing after falling into an open section of a water pipeline in Gulshan-e-Hadeed.
Officials said the search operation has been restarted, but strong water currents are making the rescue efforts difficult.
The 14-year-old girl, Sana, daughter of Nazir, slipped and fell into the 72-inch water pipeline while collecting water. Police confirmed that she is a resident of a nearby village, and that part of the pipeline remains open for locals to fetch water.
