DHAKA: At least 18 people, including 6 men, 10 women, and 2 children, died after a bus plunged into the Padma River in Bangladesh.
According to local police, the bus was traveling from Rajbari to Dhaka with around 50 passengers on board.
The incident occurred when the bus lost balance while boarding a ferry and fell into the river. Some passengers managed to swim to the riverbank, according to local media reports.
