DADU: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) marked the 47th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Dadu with a large and dignified ceremony attended by thousands of party workers and leaders. The event highlighted Bhutto’s legacy and his contributions to democracy and public welfare.
The ceremony was held at Pir House, Peoples Secretariat Dadu, where a large number of party leaders, workers, and admirers gathered to pay tribute to the late leader. Addressing the gathering, District President Barrister Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haq and other speakers said that Bhutto devoted his life to the rights of the people, the supremacy of the Constitution, and the welfare of the poor.
They described Bhutto’s political struggle as a defining chapter in Pakistan’s history, adding that his vision would continue to guide future generations. The speakers reaffirmed that the PPP would remain committed to Bhutto’s ideology and mission, continuing efforts to strengthen democracy and serve the public.
During the ceremony, participants paid rich tributes to Bhutto’s sacrifices, political services, and pro-people policies, while renewing their pledge to carry forward his unfinished mission.
The event was attended by District President and MPA Barrister Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haq, General Secretary PPP District Dadu, MPA and former Provincial Minister Fayyaz Ali Khan Butt, Advisor to the Chief Minister Sindh Mansoor Shahani, former MNA Imran Zafar Laghari, Ghulam Dastagir Gorar, Mahmood Khan Mahesar, former MNA Dr Talat Iqbal Mahesar, Mumtaz Ali Jokhio, Imdad Hussain Daach, Adnan Joyo, Dr Khalil Sikandar Kunbharo, Lala Ijaz Hussain Chandio, Comrade Nazeer Ahmed Qambrani, Saqib Khan Mahesar, Mehrab Khan Lakhair, Naqad Ali Thaheem, Advocate Babar Ijaz Khan Sehole, Advocate Amjad Hussain Bulharo, Riaz Hussain Khoso, Ijaz Ali Jamali, Iftikhar Ali Rahujo, and many other party leaders and workers.
