SUKKUR: Sindh government has issued an alert to all relevant departments ahead of anticipated rainfall in Karachi, Sukkur, Kashmore, Ghotki, Jamshoro, Shikarpur, and Larkana. Senior provincial minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the government is taking precautionary measures to protect vulnerable structures and crops.
Speaking from Karachi, Sharjeel Memon noted that according to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected to intensify on April 6. District administrations, local government bodies, and rescue services have been activated to respond promptly to emergencies.
He added that farmers are being provided guidance and support by the government to safeguard crops and manage potential damage caused by adverse weather conditions.
