KARACHI: Sindh governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi met senator Abid Sher Ali at the Governor House on 4 April, where they discussed the overall situation in the province and public welfare initiatives.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening coordination between the federal and provincial governments and stressed the need to enhance cooperation in development projects.
Ali congratulated Hashmi on assuming the office of governor and praised his commitment to public service. The two leaders reaffirmed their resolve to strengthen democratic institutions in the country and said joint efforts for public welfare would continue.
They also discussed ongoing development projects in Sindh and matters related to federal support, with the senator describing the governor’s efforts in public service as commendable.
