DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Police had conducted a search and strike operation in the Paharpur Division, during which a significant quantity of weapons, ammunition and narcotics had been recovered from different areas.
According to details, the operation had been carried out under the supervision of SP Paharpur Division Iqbal Khan Baloch within the jurisdictions of Police Stations Paharpur, Yarik and Panyala.
In the limits of Police Station Paharpur, officials had recovered four rifles of different calibres, one 30-bore pistol, 280 rounds of ammunition and 134 grams of ice.
In the jurisdiction of Police Station Panyala, police had seized one Kalashnikov along with 15 rounds, two 44-bore rifles, two magazines, 10 rounds of ammunition and one hand grenade.
Meanwhile, in the limits of Police Station Yarik, one 30-bore pistol with five rounds of ammunition and 350 grams of hashish had been recovered.
Police said all suspects involved had been arrested and taken into custody, while further investigations had been initiated.
