SUKKUR: The Department of Human and Rehabilitation Sciences at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University Sukkur organised a free physiotherapy camp aimed at promoting community health and practical learning for students.

The initiative was carried out in line with the commitment of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Tehmina Nangraj to strengthen community outreach and hands-on training in healthcare education.
The camp provided assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to university members and the general public. Patients were treated for conditions including back pain, neck pain, joint disorders, postural problems and post-stroke rehabilitation under the supervision of qualified professionals.
Doctor of Physical Therapy students also participated actively, gaining practical experience alongside patient care.
The activity was conducted under the supervision of Dr Ram Chand, dean of the Faculty of Education, Linguistics and Sciences, Dr Saifullah Bullo, chairperson of the Department of Human and Rehabilitation Sciences, and Mir Arif Hussain Talpur, programme incharge of DPT.
The camp received a positive response from participants and was described as a step towards strengthening community engagement and improving students’ clinical skills.
The university said the initiative reflected its continued commitment to healthcare outreach, academic excellence and the promotion of health and wellbeing in society.
