KARACHI: Murad Ali Shah visited several ongoing development projects in the city on Monday, along with Murtaza Wahab, Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad, Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi and other officials.

The chief minister reviewed the BRT Red Line Karachi project and received detailed briefings from officials. He inspected the ongoing construction work from Islamic College to Kamran Chowrangi and was informed about progress by representatives of Frontier Works Organization, Secretary Transport Asad Zamin and TransKarachi CEO Zubair Channa.
He directed authorities to expedite completion of the project and improve the traffic corridor, saying public convenience should be ensured as soon as possible.
Murad Ali Shah also visited the under-construction Azeempura flyover, where the mayor briefed him that 65 per cent of the work had been completed and the project was targeted for completion by 15 June.
The mayor said work was continuing day and night to minimise public inconvenience and meet the deadline.
The chief minister expressed satisfaction over the pace of work and directed that all projects should be completed on time or earlier where possible, to provide early relief to citizens.
