HANGU: The Kohat division commissioner, Syed Motasim Billah Shah, visited the Afghan Facilitation Centre established at Kohat Sports Complex on Tuesday, accompanied by deputy commissioner Muhammad Nawaz Wazir, district administration officials and other relevant authorities, where he reviewed in detail the facilities and arrangements provided for Afghan citizens.
During the visit, the commissioner inspected registration counters, security arrangements, guidance centres, medical facilities and other basic services. He was also given a detailed briefing on the ongoing administrative operations at the centre, measures taken for public facilitation and the overall management situation.
Motasim Billah Shah directed the relevant authorities to further improve the facilities at the centre, making them more effective, organised and public-friendly so that matters relating to Afghan citizens could be handled smoothly.
He placed particular emphasis on transparency, discipline, cleanliness and the provision of better services.
On the occasion, the deputy commissioner Muhammad Nawaz Wazir reaffirmed his commitment to further improving arrangements in line with government policy and said the district administration would continue to take all possible steps to ensure public convenience and effective administration.
