KHAIRPUR: An academic session at Khairpur Medical College focused on short case presentations aimed at strengthening clinical skills among medical trainees.

Dr Sehrish was assigned a patient presenting with easy fatigability, dyspepsia on exertion and palpitations. She conducted a detailed general physical examination and identified key clinical signs suggestive of anaemia.
The case was followed by a viva voce session, with a panel comprising Prof Dr Kirpal Das Makheja, Head of the Department of Medicine, Dr Abdul Hayee Phulpoto, Associate Professor of Medicine, and Dr Abdul Raheem Tunio, Senior Registrar in Medicine.
During the session, Dr Sehrish was questioned on the clinical approach to anaemia, relevant diagnostic investigations and evidence-based management strategies. She responded confidently and satisfactorily to all queries.
The session concluded with feedback from house officers and postgraduate residents. The feedback, according to the organisers, will be used to further refine and improve future academic activities at the institution.
