JAMSHORO: Sehwan police carried out an operation and arrested a suspect after recovering narcotics, a press release said. A case was also registered against the accused.
The action was taken on the special instructions of SSP Jamshoro Zafar Siddiq Chhanga as part of ongoing operations against criminal elements.
Under the supervision of DSP Sehwan Faraz Ali, the operation was led by SHO Sehwan Tariq Channa. Police arrested one suspect, Babar Ali Chandio.
A large quantity of narcotics was recovered from his possession. A case was registered at Sehwan police station, FIR No 83/2026, under Section 8 of the Gutka and Mainpuri Act.
DSP Sehwan Faraz Ali said on the occasion that operations across the district would continue without interruption to protect the younger generation from harmful substances, and strict legal action would be taken against lawbreakers.
