KARACHI: A high-level meeting was held at the Malir office on 19 May 2026 under the chairmanship of SSP Malir Dr Abdul Khaliq.
The meeting was attended by SP Malir, SDPOs and SHOs, where detailed reviews were conducted of police operations against crime, arrests of suspects and the overall individual and collective performance of officers.
SSP Malir directed all officers to further intensify operations against street criminals, repeat offenders, individuals listed in FIR records involved in drug and gutka mawa selling, as well as absconders and proclaimed offenders.
He made it clear during the meeting that there would be a zero-tolerance policy towards organized crime, drug trafficking and gutka mawa trade, and instructed strict implementation of this policy.
He further stressed the need for effective prevention of street crime, along with stronger focus on crime prevention and detection.
During the meeting, officers with good performance were awarded commendation certificates, while those with poor performance were issued show-cause notices and strictly directed to improve their work in the future.
