TEHRAN: Thousands of people gathered in Tehran on Eid al-Adha to express support for Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei during a large public rally held at Revolution Square.
Men and women carrying Iranian flags participated in the demonstration, chanting slogans in support of the Supreme Leader and expressing loyalty to the country’s leadership.
Videos and images circulating on social media showed large crowds assembled at the square, waving national flags and raising slogans in favour of Mojtaba Khamenei.
The rally took place amid heightened regional tensions and increasing political developments involving Iran and Western countries.
