HANGU: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, has said the provincial government is strengthening public engagement to ensure local issues are addressed more effectively and development projects better reflect the needs of communities.
The minister made the remarks during a visit to Chashma Mir Habib Aulia, where he attended a luncheon hosted in his honour by Syed Nangeen Hussain and Syed Muhammad Jafar. He thanked the hosts for their warm welcome and hospitality. During the visit, Shafi Jan met local elders, community leaders and residents to discuss public concerns, development priorities and matters relating to public welfare.
Community representatives also presented a range of local concerns and development proposals during the meeting. The minister pledged to take up the issues with the relevant authorities and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining regular contact with the public.
