MEHAR: Members of the Primary Teachers Association (PTA) staged a protest rally in Mehar on Friday, demanding the recovery of six-year-old Ujala Parveen Solangi, who has remained missing for more than 100 days.
The rally began from Syed Ali Asghar Shah School and moved towards Ghanta Ghar Chowk before concluding at the National Press Club Mehar. The protesters expressed concern over the continued disappearance of Ujala Parveen, the daughter of primary school teacher Shamsuddin Solangi, a resident of Manzoor Colony, Mehar.
PTA Sindh Central General Secretary Aijaz Ali Chandio, PTA Mehar Taluka President Aijaz Mangi, General Secretary Abdul Samad Bughio, Matloob Narejo and other leaders said more than 100 days had passed since Ujala Parveen allegedly went missing during school recess, while her family continued to wait for her safe recovery.
The teachers warned that if their demands were not addressed, the protest movement would be expanded across Sindh.
