KARACHI: Style Runway Fashion Show (SRF) Pakistan Season 18 concluded with a star-studded event in Karachi, bringing together celebrities, fashion models, designers and industry professionals in a showcase aimed at promoting emerging talent and celebrating Pakistan’s growing fashion industry.
Held at Barzan Banquet, the event featured runway presentations by established and aspiring models, reflecting the diversity and creativity of the country’s fashion scene. Among those attending were actor Sahiba Afzal, models and actresses Sunita Marshall, Mathira, Namra Shahid, Hiba Ali Khan, Rida Khan, Maria Gul Jan, Talia Jan and Zaynab Fatema. Male models on the runway included Fuzaan Khan, Abbas Ashraf, Shoaib Hassan, Ahmed Sadi, Sharjeel Ahmed, Waqas Khan and Waqas Ali.
Addressing the audience, SRF Pakistan Chief Executive and organizer Zia Zafar said the platform has spent years working to strengthen Pakistan’s fashion industry by creating opportunities for emerging talent.
He described Season 18 as another milestone for the organization, noting that it followed the successful staging of 17 previous editions. He also thanked the organizing team for their efforts in delivering the event.
Zafar said SRF remains committed to helping aspiring male and female models gain exposure and build careers in the fashion industry. He added that while Pakistan is home to talented designers and models, greater international recognition is still needed.
He expressed confidence that, with the right opportunities, Pakistani designers and models could compete successfully on the global stage. The event reinforced SRF Pakistan’s role in promoting new talent and supporting the continued growth of the country’s fashion industry.
