KUMB: A laborer staged a protest with his wife and young children in Kumb, accusing his stepbrother of forcibly entering their home, vandalizing the property and assaulting family members in an alleged attempt to take control of the house.
Zafar Solangi, a resident of Goth Ali Muhammad Solangi near Kumb, told reporters that he had been working as a laborer in Karachi for the past five years and built the house in his village with his savings.
He alleged that his stepbrother, Saddam Solangi, along with several accomplices, entered the house by force and damaged property. Zafar further alleged that the group assaulted his wife, Musammat Naila, and their children and took valuable belongings from the house.
He said a complaint had already been lodged at Kumb police station and the dispute had also been taken before village elders, but the alleged harassment had continued.
