SUKKUR: A delegation of the Sindh Information Commission (SIC), led by Commissioner-I Muhammad Saleem Khan, visited Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage in Sukkur and praised its academic, research and innovation initiatives.
The delegation, which included Commissioner-II Noor Muhammad Dayo and Executive Director Zulfiqar Ali Shaikh, was briefed by Vice Chancellor Dr Zahid Hussain Khand on the university’s academic programs and achievements.
SIC Commissioner-I Muhammad Saleem Khan appreciated the university’s proactive approach and asked the vice chancellor to nominate a focal person to facilitate closer coordination with the commission.
Commissioner-II Noor Muhammad Dayo said the SIC was making efforts to raise awareness about the Sindh Transparency and Right to Information Act 2016.
The delegation visited Khan Aror House of Design and inspected the university’s four academic blocks, where educational and creative activities are under way. The commissioners and executive director also interacted with students and discussed their future aspirations.
