SUKKUR: Director Health Sukkur Division Dr Farukh Imtiaz Bhambro visited several monitoring and management points (MMPs) on the second day of the polio booster dose campaign to review progress and assess the performance of vaccination teams.
Accompanied by District Health Officer Sukkur Dr Ali Gul Shah, Bhambro inspected MMP sites at UC Ali Wahan Military Muhalla, Rohri Main Road and near Mal Pari.
During the visits, he reviewed the performance of polio teams and checked team lists, child registration records and compliance with standard operating procedures.
Bhambro praised the vaccination teams for their commitment, hard work and responsible performance in the field. He stressed that parents must understand the importance of ensuring their children receive polio vaccinations.
“Polio eradication and a polio-free Pakistan are our collective responsibility,” he said, adding that every eligible child must have access to the polio vaccine.
