KARACHI: Emmy Award–winning American actress, host, and producer Zuri Hall met Syed Aamir Sajjad, President of Comic Con Pakistan, at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles to discuss the upcoming event, set to take place next year at the Karachi Expo Center.

During the meeting, Sajjad formally invited Hall to participate in the international convention, an invitation she accepted with evident enthusiasm. She expressed delight that Comic Con would be organized in Pakistan on such a large and international scale for the first time.

“This event will mark a new milestone for Pakistan and bring together artists from the global showbiz and entertainment industries,” Hall said.

Sajjad also shared details of his extensive collection of Hollywood movie memorabilia, which includes rare and iconic pieces from blockbuster films. He introduced the official mascot superhero of Comic Con Pakistan, ‘Superhero Pakistan,’ a concept and design that Hall found deeply impressive.

She was further intrigued to learn that a Hollywood feature film based on the character had entered pre-production, with principal photography scheduled to begin in New York next year.

Comic Con Pakistan aims not only to showcase the nation’s culture and arts but also to unite creators from across the world, highlighting the positive, creative, and dynamic image of Pakistan.

The event is scheduled for January 31, 2026, at the Karachi Expo Center, featuring participation from local and international artists, technologists, and creative professionals from the showbiz, technology, and entertainment industries.
