KARACHI: The Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) convened an important organizational meeting at the Functional League House in Karachi under the chairmanship of Sindh Secretary-General Sardar Abdul Rahim.

District and PS-level party officials from Central District attended the session, which focused on strengthening the party’s structure across districts and intensifying public outreach efforts. Addressing the meeting, Sardar Abdul Rahim directed that full organizational consolidation in the district be ensured as soon as possible and urged party workers to accelerate engagement with the public.

Sardar Abdul Rahim criticized the current government for failing to address basic civic issues, saying the area had been left to decay due to the absence of development work. He highlighted the lack of access to clean drinking water, the dominance of drug dealers and criminal elements in local neighborhoods, and the perilous situation faced by the youth.

Rahim added that public hospitals and health centers were inadequately equipped, forcing patients to seek treatment elsewhere, while schools lacked essential facilities, depriving children from poorer families of education. He said these problems were the result of mismanagement, negligence, and incompetence, with the authorities offering little more than promises and announcements.

Sardar Abdul Rahim emphasized that the PML-F would continue its struggle to address public grievances, strengthen its organizational presence across Sindh, and advocate for citizens’ rights. He encouraged young people to join the Functional League and contribute to solving Karachi’s issues under the leadership of Pir Sahib Pagara.

The meeting was attended by PML-F Central District President Shahin Khan, Advocate Aslam Yunus, Youred Shahdat Larib, Waqar Fasl, Classic Muhammad, Osama Qureshi, Arshad Siddiqui, Nasir Memon, and other PS-level party presidents.
