SUKKUR: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari extended warm greetings to the people of Sindh and the wider Pakistani nation on the occasion of Sindhi Culture Day, celebrated on Sunday.
In his message, Bilawal described Sindhi culture as “a radiant blossom in the beautiful bouquet of Pakistan’s diverse identities.” He highlighted that the culture of Sindh is rooted in one of the world’s oldest and most resilient civilizations, whose wisdom, gentleness, and humanism continue to inspire generations.
The chairman said the ajrak, Sindhi topi, poetry, and music are not merely cultural symbols but “the living heartbeat of the Indus Valley — a cradle of humanity that has, for thousands of years, taught the world the values of love, harmony, and peaceful coexistence.”
Reaffirming the PPP’s commitment to protecting and celebrating the cultural identity of every federating unit, Bilawal vowed that the party would continue promoting cultural development, preserving traditions, and ensuring that cultural pride and national progress move forward together.
