DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Acting on directives from District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada, Paharpur Police carried out operations under the supervision of SP Paharpur Division Syed Asad Ali Shah, SDPO Malik Abid Iqbal, and SHO Zafar Abbas.
During the operations, police arrested Naeem, son of Ahmad Nawaz from Yarik, who was wanted in connection with two theft cases. Authorities recovered Rs. 50,000 in snatched cash and a CD-70 Road Prince motorcycle from the suspect’s possession.
In a separate operation, police detained Noorullah, son of Shah Muhammad Deen from Sayed Aliyan, Paharpur, for allegedly posting and sharing content on social media that incited hate against security institutions. He was taken into custody in accordance with legal procedures, and investigations were reported to be ongoing.
Police officials reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order in the district and vowed to take strict action against criminal activity.
