DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Regional Information Officer (RIO) Dr. Sanaullah met with the newly appointed Commissioner of Dera Ismail Khan Division, Daud Khan, to provide a detailed briefing on the services and activities of the Information Department in the region.

During the meeting, Dr. Sanaullah outlined the department’s key functions, including the issuance of press releases, media projection of various government departments, and management of government advertisements. He also highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination with journalists and press clubs across the division.

Dr. Sanaullah emphasized the department’s role in ensuring accurate dissemination of government policies, while also highlighting public issues and the performance of administrative departments through the media. Proposals to enhance journalistic coverage of development projects and public welfare initiatives were also discussed.

Commissioner Daud Khan appreciated the department’s work, describing the media as a crucial bridge between the government and the public. He affirmed his commitment to improving cooperation between the district administration and the Information Department, ensuring timely and accurate communication of departmental performance, ongoing development projects, and public welfare programs.

Both officials expressed hope that strengthened coordination would enhance transparency, administrative efficiency, and public awareness, ultimately contributing to regional development and the promotion of government services.
