SUKKUR: Khairpur Police conducted a targeted operation in the Katcha area of Keti Pir Pagara, injuring four robbers and recovering a stolen Datsun, SSP Khairpur Dr. Samiullah Soomro confirmed.

The operation targeted members of the Kalhora and Nareja gangs across various areas of Khairpur Sub-Division Keti Pir Pagara, deploying heavy machinery, modern technology, and armored vehicles. A strong police contingent, including units from Keti Pir Pagara and Pir Goth sub-divisions, participated in the operation.

Dr. Soomro stated that strict action is being taken to prevent tribal clashes and curb criminal activities. Acting on secret information about the presence of the robbers, police pursued and recovered the stolen vehicle. Criminal hideouts and safe havens were demolished and set on fire to prevent further unlawful activity.

“No one will be allowed to disrupt the law and order situation,” he asserted, adding that operations are ongoing in Keti Pir Pagara, Pir Goth, and surrounding areas to restore stability amid criminal and tribal disputes.
