The suspect, identified as Adnan, was taken into custody from the jurisdiction of Chakiwara Police Station, and authorities also recovered the firearm reportedly used in the attack.
According to police, the incident occurred on Lyari Singolin Osman Brohi Road in the Kallakot area, where the victim, named Babar, sustained injuries from gunfire. During initial questioning, the suspect reportedly admitted to targeting Babar over a personal dispute. Police confirmed that Adnan had been formally arrested under the case and that further investigations and legal proceedings were ongoing.

Authorities described the arrest as part of routine efforts to curb street-level violence and resolve disputes that escalate into armed confrontations. Local residents expressed relief at the swift police response, noting that such incidents contribute to insecurity in densely populated areas.
