DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Commissioner of Dera Division, Daud Khan, assured full support for the development and welfare of the Dera Educational Board, emphasising the importance of youth as the nation’s future. He announced that construction of the Board’s own building on its allocated land would begin shortly and noted that increased transparency in the examination system was already producing visible improvements in overall performance.
The Commissioner made the remarks during a visit to the Board, accompanied by Regional Police Officer Syed Ishfaq Anwar. They were received by Chairman Dr. Ehsanullah, Secretary and Controller of Examinations Dr. Qayyum Nawaz, and Assistant Controller Tariq Javed, with Assistant Commissioner of Planning and Development Sajjad Baloch also present.
Chairman Dr. Ehsanullah briefed the visitors on key initiatives, including the digitalisation of Board systems, the early construction of the new building, and efforts to enhance facilities for students.
During the visit, the Commissioner and RPO reviewed administrative and academic processes, underlining the Board’s vital role in raising education standards and fostering intellectual development. Commissioner Daud Khan assured the Board of continued guidance and support, while RPO Syed Ishfaq Anwar reaffirmed full cooperation on security and related matters.
