ISLAMABAD: LOLC Microfinance Bank Pakistan inaugurated its new corporate head office in Islamabad to accelerate financial inclusion and expand its support for underserved micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
Backed by Sri Lanka-based LOLC Group, the move strengthened cross-border economic ties and marked a new phase of growth by utilizing a proven global microfinance framework in Pakistan. LOLC Microfinance Bank Pakistan marked a significant milestone in its growth journey with the relocation of its head office to the new premises in Islamabad.
The facility was formally inaugurated, reaffirming the bank’s long-term commitment to expanding financial inclusion and supporting Pakistan’s micro and small business sector. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Admiral Fred Seneviratne (Retd), High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan, and Krishan Thilakaratne, Chairman of LOLC Microfinance Bank Pakistan, as chief guests.
The event brought together members of the Board of Directors, the management team, regional and field leadership from across the country, and head office employees to celebrate the achievement.
The new head office reflected the bank’s continued expansion and its ambition to strengthen its presence across Pakistan while providing greater access to responsible financial services for individuals, micro-entrepreneurs and small businesses.
