LAKKI MARWAT: Brigadier Haider Ali, Brigade Commander, visited Shahbaz Khel village to engage with local elders, notables, and residents on law and order and development issues. A public jirga was held to discuss security challenges, public cooperation, and community development initiatives.

During the jirga, Brigadier Haider Ali commended the villagers for their unity and cooperation with the Pakistan Army in countering Fitna-al-Khawarij, noting that public support has been crucial in improving the law and order situation in Lakki Marwat. He emphasized that sustainable peace requires continued collaboration between the community and security forces, warning that any support for extremist elements will be met with strict legal action.

Local elders raised longstanding issues, including the acute shortage of clean drinking water and the need for development projects. The Brigade Commander assured residents that water supply problems would be addressed as a priority in coordination with civil administration, and pledged continued Army support for public welfare initiatives.

He highlighted that recent improvements in security are the result of public trust and cooperation, and called on the community to maintain vigilance and report suspicious activities promptly.

The jirga concluded with villagers reaffirming their commitment to stand alongside the Pakistan Army against terrorism, ensuring active cooperation to maintain peace and security. Local notables welcomed the initiative, stating that such engagements strengthen public trust in security institutions and help resolve local issues effectively.
