TANDO ALLAHYAR: Tando Allahyar witnessed a notable step towards improving urban traffic management as Senior Superintendent of Police Syed Saleem Shah carried out a surprise inspection at Chamber Naka Chowk, one of the city’s busiest intersections. The visit aimed to assess traffic flow, identify congestion points, and ensure that commuting for residents became smoother and safer.

During the inspection, SSP Shah closely observed the movement of vehicles, noting areas of bottleneck and the effectiveness of on-duty traffic officials. He instructed officers to enforce traffic regulations firmly but fairly, stressing that while violators should be held accountable, interactions with the public must remain courteous and cooperative.

The officer also took a critical look at encroachments and illegal parking that frequently obstructed the thoroughfare, calling for their immediate removal to ease congestion. SSP Shah highlighted the importance of deploying additional personnel during peak hours to manage traffic efficiently and reduce delays for motorists.

He underlined that enhancing traffic systems was not only a matter of convenience but also a key measure in preventing accidents and safeguarding lives. The superintendent reaffirmed his commitment to modernizing traffic management across Tando Allahyar, promising sustained, practical interventions to ensure public safety and smooth mobility.

Residents and commuters alike were left with a clear message that the authorities were taking tangible steps to transform the district’s streets into safer and more orderly spaces. This initiative reflects a broader effort to prioritize civic welfare while balancing enforcement with public cooperation, signaling a proactive approach to urban management in the district.
