HANGU: Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Muttasim Billah Shah held a jirga with representatives of different tribal communities in Tall, district Hangu, where he discussed development, law and order and ongoing government initiatives in detail.
He urged the tribal elders to fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies to ensure lasting peace in their areas so that disruptive elements could not exploit the situation for their own aims. He also briefed the participants on ongoing development projects in the region and government efforts to improve educational institutions and healthcare facilities.
The elders assured full cooperation with the district administration and security agencies and appreciated the government’s development activities in the area.
Separately, the commissioner also held a detailed meeting with a delegation of MOL Pakistan, where he assured them of full administrative support. He urged company officials to maintain close coordination with the district administration and police to avoid delays in important operations and activities.
The MOL Pakistan delegation included Tariq Javaid, Head of CD, Colonel Mubeen, retired Brigadier Muhammad Ali Changizi, Lieutenant Colonel Adnan Zaib and Kamran Mishal.
The delegation thanked the civil administration, police and law enforcement agencies for their continued support and cooperation.
