DADU: Authorities have detected the disbursement of salaries against unapproved posts at a Government Girls High School in Dadu, prompting the District Accounts Officer to demand a written explanation from the headmistress within three days.
District Accounts Officer Zafar Abbas confirmed that the payments violated the DDO code and prescribed financial rules. He said the matter has been formally raised, and all relevant records have been requisitioned for detailed scrutiny.
He warned that failure to provide a satisfactory explanation within the stipulated timeframe could result in further action. The Secretary Education, Director, and concerned District Education Officers have also been informed to ensure compliance with the rules.
The accounts office directed that the payment of salaries through unapproved posts must stop immediately and emphasized that all future salary disbursements adhere strictly to sanctioned positions and codal procedures.
