DADU: Dadu Police have recovered three eighth-grade schoolgirls from Mehar within 24 hours of their reported disappearance and arrested a suspect in connection with the case, police officials said.
Addressing a press conference at the SSP Office in Dadu, SSP Dadu Captain (Retd) Saddam Hussain Khaskheli, accompanied by DSP Mehar Khalil Ahmed Baledi, B-Section SHO Mehar Nadeem Ali Solangi and other police officers, said the girls were safely recovered following a swift investigation.
The SSP said police received information that three students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mehar — Roshni, Fatima and Tanzeela — had not returned home after leaving for school. Following the report, police teams immediately launched an investigation and contacted the families to assure them of full legal support.
He said multiple teams were formed due to the sensitivity of the matter, with the investigation carried out under the supervision of DSP Mehar Khalil Ahmed Baledi.
