DERA ISMAIL KHAN: District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmed Sabzdar chaired a high-level crime review meeting with senior police officials, including SP Investigation Malik Shakeel Ahmed, SP City Ali Hamza, SP Paharpur Asad Ali Shah, SP Sadar Muhammad Nawab Khan, SDPOs, SHOs, and heads of various departments.

The meeting examined the district’s overall crime situation, ongoing investigations, operational progress, and the general law and order environment. Detailed briefings were provided to the DPO on cases under investigation and current security measures.

DPO Sabzdar expressed strong dissatisfaction with the performance of certain SDPOs and SHOs, issuing strict warnings and directing officers to immediately improve their work. Show cause notices were also served to those found negligent in their duties.

Officials briefed the DPO on the district’s security landscape, following which he instructed all officers to strengthen and enhance security arrangements. He reiterated that negligence in matters of public safety, effective policing, and crime prevention would not be tolerated.

The DPO emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens remained the department’s foremost responsibility and directed officers to ensure efficient, results-oriented policing.
