KARACHI: A dinner reception was hosted at Tabani House by Humza Tabani, chairman of the Tabani Group and Tabani Corporation, in honor of an Oman delegation led by Sami Abdullah Al Khanjari. The event reflected the growing diplomatic engagement, trade cooperation and longstanding ties between Pakistan and Oman.
The gathering was attended by several prominent figures from diplomatic, government, business and industrial circles, including Irfan Ali Soomro, Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Javed Alam Odho; former Senate chairman Muhammad Mian Soomro; President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rehan Hanif; and business leaders including Zubair Motiwala, Fazal Dadabhoy, Baber Siddiqi, Jahangir Rasheed, Nauman Vohra, Bilal Ansari, Zubair Wakeel, Ali Arsh Khan, Danish Khan, Umer Rehan, Atif Hanif, Zeeshan Lakhya, Asif Inam, Javed Jillani and Ahmed Chinoy.
Representatives from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with diplomats, industrialists and other distinguished guests, also attended the event.
During the evening, participants discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, enhance trade and investment opportunities, and encourage greater collaboration between the business communities of Pakistan and Oman. Guests appreciated the hospitality extended by Humza Tabani and noted the importance of such engagements in promoting regional economic partnerships and people-to-people connections.
Speaking on the occasion, Humza Tabani highlighted the deep-rooted historical and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Oman, while emphasizing the importance of expanding economic, cultural and diplomatic engagement for mutual growth and prosperity.
