DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The District Police Officer of Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmed, carried out a detailed visit to remote police stations and check posts in the Daraban, Darazinda and Chodhwan circles to review security arrangements and operational preparedness.
According to details, he was accompanied by SP Saddar Asif Mehmood during the visit. The DPO conducted a comprehensive security audit of police stations in the area, reviewing existing security measures, official records, personnel deployment and standard operating procedures.
Given potential security threats, he briefed officers and personnel on challenges and issued instructions to further strengthen safety arrangements. He emphasised constant vigilance and directed staff at check posts to closely monitor suspicious individuals and vehicles, ensuring no negligence in duty.
Ziauddin Ahmed said the protection of life and property of citizens remained the top priority of the police and stressed that all possible steps would be taken to maintain law and order.
The purpose of the visit was also to boost the morale of police personnel serving in remote areas.
He further instructed officers to maintain courteous behaviour with the public and to perform duties with honesty, dedication and professionalism to improve the overall law and order situation in the district.
