DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), through its Area Sales Office (ASO) D.I. Khan, organized a Farmers’ Awareness Meeting in Village Hisam, Tehsil Shorkot, aimed at educating growers on modern agricultural practices and the importance of balanced fertilizer use.
The session was attended by HO-FAC Mardan, Director Agriculture Research Abdul Qayyum, and Deputy Director Agriculture Research Imran Lohani. Around 60 progressive farmers from the area actively participated in the event.
During the meeting, HO-FAC Mardan introduced the Fauji Fertilizer Company and highlighted the various initiatives and services offered under Agricultural Services (AS). Detailed discussions were held on the importance of balanced fertilizer application, particularly for sugarcane and wheat crops, to improve productivity and maintain soil health.
The ASO D.I. Khan team briefed participants on FFC’s high-performance fertilizer products, including SUNC, SUZC, and Sona B-DAP, explaining their benefits and best practices for enhancing crop yields.
HO-FAC also engaged directly with the farmers, clarified the objectives of the meeting, and addressed their questions thoroughly.
At the conclusion, the Sona Center Incharge and Field Assistant informed farmers about the facilities and support services available at the Sona Center. The event ended with a formal vote of thanks, marking a successful awareness initiative aimed at promoting sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
