KHAIRPUR: Five illegal LPG stations and shops were sealed in Luqman on Monday during an enforcement operation carried out on the orders of the deputy commissioner of Khairpur.
Assistant Commissioner Khairpur Umama Solangi led the operation and inspected several LPG outlets in the area. She said five establishments were found operating without valid licences or the required permits.
The outlets had also failed to comply with prescribed safety standards and precautionary measures, officials said. The authorities sealed the establishments after finding violations that could pose risks to customers, workers and nearby residents.
Solangi said the administration was taking action against illegal LPG businesses to ensure compliance with licensing and safety requirements. She warned that outlets operating without proper authorization would not be allowed to continue their business.
She said the enforcement drive would continue and further action would be taken against LPG stations and shops found violating safety regulations.
