KAMBAR: Global Youth Day was observed in Qambar with a special event organized by the social organization CSDs and the Social Welfare Department, bringing together government officials, representatives of civil society organizations and a large number of young people.
Officials from the health and education departments and representatives of various social organizations attended the event. Guests were presented with traditional Sindhi ajraks as a gesture of respect and cultural hospitality.
The speakers said the purpose of Global Youth Day was to recognize young people’s potential, encourage them to move forward and support their efforts to bring positive change to the world.
They said young people in Qambar Shahdadkot were performing well in education, healthcare, employment and other fields, adding that encouraging their efforts was a shared responsibility.
The speakers described youth-focused programs as important in developing a spirit of community service, saying young people were among the country’s most valuable assets.
