KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline as rates fell sharply in line with international market movements, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of gold per tola decreased by Rs15,500, bringing it down to Rs476,862.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs13,289 to settle at Rs408,832 in the local market.
In the global market, gold prices also saw a notable fall, declining by $155 per ounce to reach $4,545.
Market analysts say the downward trend reflects volatility in international bullion markets, which directly impacts domestic pricing in Pakistan.
