KARACHI: Rich tributes were paid to the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their sacrifices and for valiantly defending the country’s borders during a seminar organized at Greenwich University on the theme of “Marka-e-Haq”. The event reaffirmed solidarity with the armed forces and highlighted what speakers described as the nation’s enduring commitment to truth, justice, resilience and sovereignty.
The speakers said that the armed forces had defeated a “five times bigger enemy” with complete superiority. The seminar was followed by a solidarity march in which faculty members, students and staff of Greenwich University participated.
The event brought together members of the university’s faculty, students and distinguished guests, providing a platform for dialogue on patriotism, national responsibility and the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan’s armed forces in safeguarding the country’s integrity and stability.
Addressing the audience, speakers emphasized that “Marka-e-Haq” symbolizes the triumph of truth, courage and national unity, while paying tribute to the professionalism, dedication and sacrifices of the armed forces. They encouraged students to remain informed, united and actively committed to the progress, peace and development of Pakistan.
University leadership, speaking on the occasion, underscored the importance of nurturing patriotic values, civic responsibility and social awareness among young people. They noted that higher education institutions play a vital role in shaping responsible citizens and future leaders who uphold integrity, resilience, harmony and national cohesion.
The seminar also featured active student participation and interactive discussions focusing on national development, peacebuilding and collective responsibility. Following the seminar, a prize distribution ceremony was held to recognize students for their participation and performance in activities organized under the theme of Marka-e-Haq.
The event concluded with a message of unity, patriotism and collective national responsibility, reaffirming Greenwich University’s commitment to promoting academic excellence alongside civic awareness, national values and constructive societal engagement.
