KARACHI: Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho has commended the Senior Superintendent of Police South and the Preedy Police team for arresting the central suspect in a Rs90 million robbery case.
According to a statement issued by the Sindh Police Public Relations Office, Preedy Police conducted an operation in District South late on Thursday night during which the alleged mastermind of the robbery, identified as Noor Wali, was arrested in an injured condition following an exchange of fire.
Officials said the operation formed part of ongoing efforts to trace those involved in the major robbery case. The suspect was believed to be a key figure in the planning and execution of the heist, and his arrest was described as a significant breakthrough.
The IG Sindh praised the officers involved, saying their performance reflected operational efficiency in tackling organised crime in Karachi. He said the arrest marked an important step towards restoring public confidence and strengthening trust in law enforcement institutions.
