KARACHI: Indonesian Consul General in Karachi M. A. Mudzakir on Thursday congratulated the government, leadership and people of Pakistan on the country’s 79th Independence Day.
In a message issued on behalf of the Indonesian Consulate General in Karachi and the Indonesian community in Sindh, Mudzakir conveyed warm greetings to Pakistan on the national occasion. He said Independence Day served as a reminder of Pakistan’s resilience, unity and shared aspirations, which continued to guide the country towards greater progress and prosperity.
The consul general highlighted the longstanding relationship between Indonesia and Pakistan, describing the ties between the two countries as close and cordial. He said the relationship was based on mutual respect, cooperation and shared values.
Mudzakir reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations with Pakistan. He said both countries had significant opportunities to expand cooperation in economic development, trade, education and socio-cultural exchanges.
He expressed confidence that Indonesia and Pakistan would continue working together to deepen their partnership and develop new areas of cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries and their people.
The consul general said stronger engagement between the two countries could create greater opportunities for people, businesses and institutions on both sides. He also extended his wishes for Pakistan’s continued peace, stability, progress and prosperity in the years ahead.
The message came ahead of Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14 and reflected the longstanding diplomatic and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and Indonesia. The Indonesian Consulate General in Karachi also conveyed its greetings to the Pakistani people and expressed hope that bilateral relations would continue to grow in the years ahead.
