KARACHI: The first day of a robotic surgery workshop at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre concluded successfully, with participants receiving training in advanced surgical techniques and sharing knowledge through a series of expert-led sessions.
The workshop featured informative talks and interactive learning sessions conducted by leading specialists, including Prof Nighat Shah, Dr Erum Majid and Dr Naresh. The sessions provided a strong academic platform and helped deepen participants’ understanding of robotic surgical procedures and modern medical practices.
Participants welcomed the opportunity to engage in high-quality academic discussions and gain practical insights, describing the sessions as both informative and valuable for their professional development.
The second day of the workshop was set to focus on robotic hysterectomies, aimed at strengthening hands-on training and offering further practical exposure to attending doctors and surgeons.
Organizers also thanked the CMR team for facilitating the workshop and providing continuous support throughout the event. Appreciation was extended to Prof Amjad Siraj and Prof Khalid Sher for their contributions to the successful conduct of the workshop.
