KAMBER SHAHDAKOT: Deputy Commissioner Kamber Shahdadkot Kamran Hussain Mushtaq visited various villages in Taluka Kamber to review the progress and quality of ongoing development projects and ensure their transparent implementation.
During the visit, the deputy commissioner inspected paver block schemes and other public development projects. He reviewed the pace of work, construction quality, materials being used and overall progress of the schemes.
The concerned departmental officers, engineers and contractors briefed the deputy commissioner about the ongoing projects. He directed the officials to ensure that all development schemes were completed within the stipulated timeframe and strictly follow government-approved technical specifications and quality standards.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamran Hussain Mushtaq said ensuring transparency, quality and sustainability in every development project funded through public resources was the foremost responsibility of the district administration.
He said the primary objective of these projects was to improve civic infrastructure, provide better public facilities, ease transportation and support the overall development of urban and rural areas.
The deputy commissioner warned that substandard or poor-quality work would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He instructed relevant officials to regularly monitor all ongoing projects and ensure that every scheme was completed according to the prescribed standards.
He also cautioned contractors that any negligence, unnecessary delay or compromise on quality would lead to strict legal action.
During the visit, the deputy commissioner also interacted with workers involved in paver block projects in different villages. He said timely and quality completion of development schemes would improve public facilities for residents and contribute to the district’s overall progress.
He reaffirmed that the district administration would continue monitoring all public welfare projects to ensure their efficient completion and alignment with their intended objectives.
