SUKKUR: The Vice Chancellor of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and Skill Development Khairpur, Professor Dr Rasool Bux Mahar, attended the 6th International Conference of the Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education in Karachi on 14 April 2026.
He was accompanied by Dr Asim Ali Abro, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell, and Engineer Shamsuddin Lakho, Assistant Director QEC, as part of the university delegation.
During the conference, the delegation interacted with national and international quality assurance professionals, where they discussed academic collaboration and shared best practices related to higher education quality standards.
The university also participated as a silver category sponsor at the event, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening quality assurance systems in higher education institutions.
Officials said the participation reflected the institution’s continued focus on improving academic standards and promoting collaboration in the sector.
